About this event:

Looking for practical ways to make your literacy instruction more effective, engaging, and manageable? This full-day session is designed to give you strategies you can use right away, whether you are just getting started or looking to refresh and refine your practice.

The morning focuses on UFLI Foundations and powerful phonics routines that work across programs and settings. In the afternoon, we shift to designing purposeful, data-driven small group instruction that meets the needs of all learners while keeping the rest of your class engaged and learning.

You will leave with:

  • Clear, effective routines for phonics instruction you can use immediately

  • Strategies to boost engagement and make the most of your instructional time

  • Practical ways to plan and structure small group instruction with confidence

  • Tools to use assessment and progress monitoring to guide next steps

  • Ideas for keeping all students engaged during small group time

  • Ready to use templates, resources, and activities

This session is built for educators at any stage who want to strengthen their instruction and see greater impact on student learning.
