Professional Resource Center (PRC)
Overview
The Professional Resource Center (PRC) is an instructional materials library for both special and regular education classrooms to use to support students. School districts can get the most out of their ever-tightening budget by being a member of the PRC.
Available items include professional development books, learning assessments, intervention programs, classroom kits, and so much more. This service includes a virtual district visit and consultation and the CESA 2 van delivery service. The Assistive Technology (AT) section provides districts with access to technology, equipment, and adapted curricula. Districts can save time and money by borrowing assistive technology from the PRC. Resources are delivered and returns picked up once a week at the drop-off/pick-up site (determined by the district administrator).
To access the PRC catalog, click on the link above for the MackinVision homepage. Anyone can browse the catalog but you must be logged in to check out materials. Please contact Rachel Holt to request your user ID or to create a new user account.
The ATLC is a statewide lending library that is also available at CESA 2. This DPI-funded program is housed within the CESA 2 PRC. We provide district staff the ability to trial high-end devices (over $4,000) on behalf of a student. After a trial period, the district can then purchase whichever device is best-suited for the student. This is a free program for all schools in Wisconsin. An IEP is required for the student trial. Head to wisconsinat4all.com to set up an account.
We look forward to serving you during the upcoming school year. Below are directions for the online catalog featuring our resources. Just a reminder that no password is needed to access our catalog. All requests can be emailed to Rachel Holt using the following address: rachel.holt@cesa2.org.

Directions For Using CESA 2's Online Catalog
Staff may access the online catalog here. The catalog features a natural language search (similar to Google) that can locate resources by title, author, subject, or collection. A “browse” feature is also available that allows users to view resources by collection.
Anyone can browse the catalog, but you must be logged in to check out resources. Once you are logged in, you can drag the cover image of the item you would like to check out to your basket. You will have the option in your basket to place the item on hold, which reserves it for you until PRC staff can check it out to you and prepare it for delivery.
New items in the PRC collection are featured on the catalog home page. Special collections will also be featured on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the catalog frequently to discover resources relevant to your practice.
Check out the Assistive Technology catalog by searching for “AT Catalog”. This will bring up everything in our AT collections. To narrow down the search to a specific type of resource, go to “Collections” on the left-hand side of the search results screen and select from the menu. You can also try searching the collections on the home page by entering such terms as “AT Toys” or “AAC”.
Van Schedule
Only the districts or agencies listed below have van service.
Generally, the district office is the site visited. Check with your district office to find out the pickup/delivery location in your district. Districts are listed in the order of delivery.
Important PRC Delivery Things to Know
1. The CESA 2 delivery driver only stops at the designated pick-up/drop-off point(s) in each district. The van does not stop at every school.
2. The CESA 2 delivery driver does not stop at the pick-up/drop-off point unless there is a delivery or pick-up scheduled.
