CESA 2 Regonal Spelling Bee

It's time to prepare for the National Scripps Spelling Bee competition! Each CESA 2-region school or district needs to register on the Scripps website to participate. Champions from each school or district will be able to participate in the CESA 2 Regional Bee.

To register your school or district, head to spellingbee.com/enrollment and enroll starting August 18th, 2026. Check back later on a deadline to register.

The CESA 2 Regional Bee will have two regional spelling bees in February. After you register on Scripps, you will be informed of which bee your champion(s) should plan to attend starting in November 2026. It will be a $35 fee for each participating student champion. CESA 2 will send an invoice to your school. Both regional bees start at 6pm, with five champion contestants in total moving on to the state bee.

Here are the guidelines for how many student contestants are allowed to participate:

• Each participating school can send one contestant to the CESA 2 regional bee

• A school with over 750 students may send two contestants to the CESA 2 regional bee

• A district having a district bee may send one contestant per participating school. The contestants can come from the same school.
