Rethinking Behavior: A Restorative Approach to Build Connection

About this event:

This two day restorative practices training invites educators to explore the key concepts and foundational principles of restorative approaches while examining how our beliefs about behavior and our role as educators shape the relationships and communities we create. Through reflection, discussion, and practice, participants will reconsider responses to behavior that prioritize compliance and control and explore how restorative approaches can support positive classroom communities by strengthening connection and supporting belonging.
