About this Event:

Best Practices for Substance Use Prevention & Intervention | Designed for K–12 educators, this presentation provides an overview of current trends in youth substance use in Wisconsin. Participants will explore school-based prevention strategies, the connection between substance use and student mental health and well-being, and effective Tier 2 supports that offer alternatives to suspension. The session also highlights family resources and examines the role of school policiesand procedures in prevention and intervention efforts.
