LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), Volume 2

About this event:

As teachers, we have the greatest impact on student learning. With Volume 2 of LETRS, you will deepen your understanding of oral language development, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. Whether you’re working with younger students or those in upper grades, LETRS Volume 2 provides practical, evidence-based strategies you can immediately apply to strengthen literacy instruction and support student success. This virtual series provides the opportunity to make sense of new learning alongside a collaborative group of educators through guided discussion, reflection, and application, while giving you the flexibility to complete the accompanying online modules at your own pace. Participants who already have LETRS Volume 2 materials and online access are eligible for a reduced registration fee.

Participants will:

  • Deepen their understanding of the language foundations that support reading comprehension and writing.

  • Learn practical, evidence-based instructional strategies they can immediately apply in the classroom.
