Special Education Teachers Community of Practice

About this event:

The Special Education Teachers Community of Practice is designed for educators who want to strengthen their skills, streamline their work, and connect with peers. The network also includes four virtual one-on-one sessions with a leader to provide personalized support and guidance between meetings, helping teachers put new learning into practice.

Together, we’ll explore practical strategies for:

*Organizing tasks and resources to maximize efficiency

*Collaborating effectively with multiple educators

*Program design and implementation for learners with IEPs; connecting the dots

*Embedding high-leverage practices across the school day

*Supporting diverse learners through scaffolding, oral discourse, engagement strategies, and multiple modes of communication

*On-going connection to community of practice members and network leaders in our virtual community using online platforms

You’ll leave each session with ready-to-use strategies, shared resources, and a supportive network of colleagues committed to ensuring equitable access and growth for all learners.
