The Praxis II exam is a great way for currently licensed educators to add an additional license in their current grade band. By passing a content test in your chosen subject area, you can show your knowledge and teach in that subject.

Enrolling in Praxis II Ready gets you access to an online course with content that includes a diagnostic test to see your areas of strength and weakness, a study guide, flashcards, and videos. The course also provides check-for-understanding quizzes and three full-length practice exams. After you complete the course, you sign up to meet with an instructor to discuss your practice exam results so that you are fully prepared to take the Praxis II exam.
Teachers who hold a valid Wisconsin Provisional Educator, Lifetime Educator or Master Educator license have options to add licenses by passing a content test. This pathway has certain limitations based on statute and administrative rules that are related to both the licensure held and/or the licensure sought. Please review the DPI content test pathway information to determine your eligibility. CESA 2 supports this pathway through our Praxis II Ready course and coaching.
