Senior Director of Licensing, Evaluation & Support Email Phone: 920.728.9429 Tere has been working with school districts and educators since 1997. She began her career in education as an AmeriCorps volunteer teaching adult EL courses and working with refugees. By 2001, she had completed her Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Minnesota-Mankato. Following a number of years teaching Multilingual Learners at the K-12 levels, Tere earned her K-12 Administrator and Director of Curriculum licenses from Marion University. By 2004, Tere moved into school administration, taking her love of teaching students to a love of supporting the effective development of school staff. In 2008, Tere began working at CESAs to support school staff and school systems with language, culture, and educator preparation programs by creating curriculum, supervising teacher candidates, working with cooperating teachers, and creating additional DPI approved licensure programs. She was the Senior Director of the Language & Culture Center of Excellence until 2022, when she transitioned into the role of Senior Director for the new Licensing, Evaluation, & Support Center. The new center features the CLASS program, a highly engaging, flexible, and cost effective way to earn a WI teaching license.
