Career, Community, and Life Readiness Consultant Email Phone: 262.993.6343 Scott Carr joins CESA 2 to assist districts with student readiness. Previously, Scott was a coordinator with CESA 7
and supported districts in the state within the area of Redefining Ready. As a part of this work, Scott brought innovative opportunities to districts in all areas of career and life readiness, along with assisting districts in redefining student success. He brought a high level of experience with Academic and Career Planning, which included portrait of a graduate, graduation options, career pathways, and realigning CTE programming.
Prior to CESA 7, Scott worked for Hartford Union High School District as the Director of College and Career Readiness, and Analytics. His work included revisioning and reimagining the career readiness process for the district. The district, students, and staff built a productive community connection, which allowed for a more effective partnership benefiting students, families, and the Hartford Community.
Scott has also worked within the School District of New Berlin and CESA 1 as an administrator. Here and throughout his career, he has specialized in creating innovative opportunities for disadvantaged students and families in the area of readiness and community involvement. Scott’s approach to building not only successful academic programming, but also career opportunities for at-risk, special education, and non-traditional learning students, was a staple in his approach to meeting student needs.
Scott has an MA in Special Education, Educational Leadership, and Instruction & Curriculum from Cardinal Stritch University. In addition, Scott has gone through the Director of Pupil Services and Special Education program at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
