Joe Schmitz is CLASS’s Physical Education Instructor. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s in Education and Educational Leadership. Joealso holds Wisconsin Teaching Licensure in Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, Health Education, and Coaching.

Joe’s experience includes five years at Briar Cliff University as an Assistant Football Coach and Education Retention Specialist. Afterward, he joined Sioux City West High School as their Head Football Coach, Sports Performance Coach, and IJAG Education Specialist. Most recently, Joe taught Physical Education in West Bend School District schools and now teaches at Menomonee Falls High School.

Joe believes the most valuable part of education is lifting a person up just by believing in them. He harnesses that belief every day to focus on serving students and helping them become who they want to be.
