Julie Preman is CESA 2’s Senior Director of Specialized Services and Staffing. Julie is an accomplished educator, professional development specialist, and administrator with a proven ability to create and monitor policies and practices that promote professional excellence and student success. She’s focused on inclusive education, co-plan to co-serve education models, and the use of evidence-based strategies to maximize student engagement and learning.

Julie comes to CESA 2 from Franklin Public Schools in Franklin, WI. As their Director of Pupil Services, she provided leadership for the district’s special education school nursing, school psychology, school counseling, social work, social-emotional learning, and many other programs. Julie also spent time at CESA 1 as their Assistant Director of Special Education and Milwaukee Public Schools as a Speech Pathologist and program support teacher.

Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from UW-Eau Claire, Master’s in Speech Pathology from the University of Kansas, and Certification in Administrative Leadership from UW-Milwaukee.
