Every year, CESA 2 recruits volunteers to assist in reading and grading applications for the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship. The Herb Kohl Educational Foundation gives hundreds of awards every year, and relies on the CESAs to recruit volunteers to read and grade applications. Each CESA is assigned applications from their own districts, and, therefore recruits educators from the districts to help grade the applications. With CESA 2 containing many districts, every volunteer who can help is very, very appreciated.

Volunteering requires you to read and grade assigned applications between January 9, 2025 through February 14, 2025. For new readers, it is expected it will take a few hours to complete the grading, depending on the number of volunteers. All grading takes place online, so you only need a computer with an internet connection. You can read and grade at your own pace over multiple sessions and submit your grades once you are finished.
